Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect during my first session?
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping to explore or shift, and go over any questions you have. It’s a space for you to share as much (or as little) as you feel comfortable. We’ll move at your pace. I’ll also share a bit about how I work, so we can make sure it feels like a good fit. No pressure to have it all figured out, just come as you are.
Do you work with individuals, couples, families, etc.?
At this time, I work exclusively with individual adults. While our work may touch on relationship or family dynamics, our sessions will focus on you—your experiences, your growth, and your healing. If you're looking for couples or family therapy, I’d be happy to offer referrals to trusted providers in the community.
What are your fees?
All 60-minute in-person, telehealth, and coaching sessions are $130. Walk and Talk Therapy sessions are 75 minutes and offered at $150. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to help make therapy more accessible—please don’t hesitate to ask if cost is a concern. I’m happy to talk through options with you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash, check, and Zelle. Payment is due at the time of each session unless otherwise arranged.
Do you take insurance?
I don’t currently accept insurance plans directly, but I’m happy to provide monthly superbills (detailed invoices) that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance company to see what your specific plan covers.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I understand that life happens, and I do my best to be flexible when unexpected situations come up. I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee.
What area do you do your walk and talk sessions?
I’m based on the West Side of Los Angeles and typically hold Walk and Talk Therapy sessions in that area—think beach paths, parks, and peaceful outdoor spots that support the work we’re doing. If you're located outside of the West Side and would like to meet elsewhere, I’m open to traveling for an additional fee. Feel free to reach out and we can discuss options!
